History

This Unit was formed at Ransford in Victoria on 19 February 1945. On 19 April 1945 the Unit left Ransford and travelling via Adelaide, Terowie, Alice Springs and Larrimah the Unit arrived at Fenton on 1 May 1945. On 17 June 1945 30MCS personnel boarded the USS Cleveland Forbes at Darwin for the destination of Balikpapan, via Port Moresby, arriving 16 July 1945. The Unit was disbanded 14 November 1945.,
